About Us

The Christian Community Care Center (Christian Community Dental Care) was established in 2006 to provide free emergency dental care to underserved and needy people, with sensitivity and compassion. In addition to alleviating dental pain and infection, we provide complete dental care (cleanings, fillings, crowns, root canals, dentures) at a reduced cost. Patients with Medicaid are accepted, and biblical counseling and encouragement to those who desire it.

How Did Christian Community Care Center Come About?

In 2006, a small group of concerned Christians came together to establish the center. Through the generosity of Tropical Farms Baptist Church and El Camino Baptist Church, the space and utilities were provided. A retiring dentist in Ft. Lauderdale donated all of his equipment, and with the remodeling of some of the space in the church building by Mosley Construction, the facility was born. The news of the clinic and its need for volunteers spread throughout the community, and soon volunteers of dentists and lay people were providing weekly care for those in need.

How Successful Is CCDC?

Presently, we are seeing over 1200 patients a year. When the center opened, not many people knew about us. But it did not take long for word to get out into the community, and now we see about 20 patients every Friday morning for removal of infected, non-restorable teeth. Since we are limited in the number of patients that we are able to see on a Friday mornings, patients must be registered first and then they will need to call and schedule an appointment to see the dentist on Friday’s to receive treatment for their painful dental condition.

In response to the tremendous need to provide more than extractions and limited fillings, we now offer complete dental care by appointment for those patients needing and wanting dental care that includes cleaning of teeth, fluoride for children, periodontal treatment (deep scaling), fillings, root canals, crowns, partial and full dentures. All these services are available at a reduced charge and are only available to low income or Medicaid patients.

How Can We Serve So Many?

Christian Community Dental Care is blessed with an amazing group of volunteers and limited staff, both professionals and lay people, all dedicated to providing the best of care possible, and all without regard for financial remuneration. The need is great, and the center is one of the very few places where those truly in financial need can receive help.

Our Historic, Christian Faith Principles

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
II Timothy 3:15-17
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Matthew 28:19; Ephesians 4:4-6
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
John 1:1-4; Matthew 1:23; Philippians 2:5-11; Hebrews 1:1-4 & 4:15; Acts 1:11 & 2:22-24; I Corinthians 15:3-4.
We believe that, for the salvation of lost and sinful man, repentance of sin and faith in Jesus Christ results in regeneration by the Holy Spirit and that Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation.
Titus 3:4-7; Luke 24:46-47; Ephesians 2:8-9; John 14:6; Acts 4:12
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit whose indwelling enables the Christian to live a godly life.
Galatians 5:16-18; Romans 8:9
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the saved unto the resurrection of eternal life and the lost unto the resurrection of damnation and eternal punishment.
Revelation 20:11-15; I Corinthians 15:51-57
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ and that all true believers are members of His body, the Church.
Ephesians 1:22-23; I Corinthians 12:12, 27
